A trip to Washington WWT this morning produced a few new species for me.
Like this Bee Orchid.
And this Speckled Wood Butterfly.
Yellow Rattle in the Meadow.
And this Chimney Sweeper Moth.

Cracking Bee Orchids, Davy. No sign of any down here in Yorks, yet.
ReplyDeleteAye it was a cracking flower. it was within inches of being strimmed by the staff at Washington. A very close shave.
